SHAWN BOATIN JOINS CITY OF HULL & DISTRICT RL MANAGEMENT GROUP

Rugby League is coming back to our city, and the COHDRL Management group are making swift changes in order to grow and sustain the game in Hull and surrounding areas.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Shawn Boatin, who has joined the COHDRL Management Group as the Marketing and PR manager.

Shawn is the founder of the Grassroots media platform ' GRM SPORT' which is primarily based on youtube and receives over 1 million views each season. GRM SPORT have featured all of Hull's Amateur Rugby League clubs extensively over the years.

Shawn has already started work in his new role with the management group by creating our new website and youtube channel.

Here's what Shawn had to say to The Hull & District Rugby League community:

"Since starting my own RL platform in 2017 I've come to know the coaches, players and parents in this region really well.

"GRM SPORT is now a successful national platform partnered with the RFL, which means we're unable to focus on the Hull region as much as I would like to. As a result, I immediately said yes when asked to be a part of the COHDRL management group.

“This new involvement will allow me to support Rugby League in and around Hull the best way I can, and I got started straight away with a new website.

“We live in a digital world, and we cannot ignore the need to engage with the rugby community with fresh digital content

"I really like the the look of the new site and can't wait to see how things develop!"
